James Street |
It is emerging with a vengeance. A vengeance against society, who, are now embracing it. An increasing number of cafes, and parking lots around brisbane have been letting street artists to use their blank canvas in exchange of a very cheap piece of art. Around paddington, in the last 6 months or so, I have noticed countless brick walls, fences, and sides of houses being dolled up to the nines in colourful spray paint. It is a welcoming friend around brisbane, and it spicing up otherwise very dull blank spaces. On a trip to nimbin and byron bay, there too way the emergence of street art on school walls, industrial estates, and even the local water tank.
