I still love that feeling of having one chance to take a photo.  A place where there exists no digital remastering, no airbrushing or photoshop. Polaroids are still thriving despite the famine of its film.  Most of these shots are taken on out-of-date film I pulled from my fridge every now and then.

 

Upon rummaging amongst my mothers treasures, I found these loose polaroids. It seems my mother liked taking photo's of her boyfriend's cars?

Ghosts...Do they exist? Many people believe in some sort of ghostly sensation. Late one star sprinkled night on the isolated Heron Island, the camera captured my ghost along with many others...

Asia has the most amazing merchants selling homemade wares, the colours and shapes attract the eye at every waking moment. The turquoise gems, and craved silvers suck innocent bypassers into their lair and trap them in a whimiscal bliss of pure beauty.

 

 

borneo

Think luscious tropical rainforests, dense leaf covered jungle floors and orangutans.  This was my impression of Borneo as I was planning to visit this foreign wilderness. I expected shanty cafes and open air bungalows for sleeping. How wrong I was. Borneo is actually thriving with urban cities, street art, delectable food and merchants who will sell you just about anything. The land is prosperous due to the millions of palm oil trees the Malays have planted.  Nevertheless, Borneo still has some of the most impenetrable jungle on earth, not to mention the only other place in the world where wild rhino's roam. It is also the home to Pulau Sipidan, the best diving spot in the world, restricted to only 120 people daily. Turtles and reef sharks galore, the enchanted underwater world is truly magical.  Borneo is truly a beautiful paradise, an oasis like no other. Teeming with offspring of mothernature, the monkey's are devoted to caring for their young, striving for the ulimate goal -survival.  The land is alive with culture, wilderness and the unknown.
